Social media, unplugged
Graffiti has always been a raw form of social media. An art, in most cases, writing on the walls long before Facebook and Myspace were around. The artist Candy Chang once again takes social-media to the street with the project "Before I Die".
Candy turned the side of an abandoned house in New Orleans into a giant chalkboard stenciled with the phrase, “Before I die I want to _____.”
Residents are encouraged to remember what is important to them and complete the sentence using chalk.
Cheers to artists taking to the streets, making something out of nothing, and bringing social media into society.
