We are tiny, ever tinier than we'd originally suspected...
A recent sweep of the images sent back to earth from Hubble indicates we're smaller than we thought, relatively. The Deep Space Telescope is on a mission to discover far away galaxies, and it has done just that this week. Beaming back images of tiny specs of light unimaginably far from Earth.
"The object's light traveled 13.2 billion years to reach Hubble, roughly 150 million years longer than the previous record holder. The age of the universe is approximately 13.7 billion years."
So here are the first ever views of a galaxy buried so far back in space and time we had no idea it existed until now:
