Legless lizards...for real, not snakes.

So this is actually a thing...I'm not just being a sarcastic fool here. There genuinely exist such things as legless lizards. They differ from snakes in a few aspects, such as having eyelids, possessing external ear openings, lack of broad belly scales, and/or a very long tail (while snakes have a long body and short tail).
The tails are measured of course by the distance from their anus to the end of their spine/tail-bone. Snakes have tiny little tails.

Cheers to the weird things nature throws at us.
