Is Jobs destroying laptops?

Ok, so Rupert Murdoch wasn't really bashing Jobs... he was merely commenting on how Jobs's success with the iPad was sorta rendering laptop obsolete. How many more of the comments were tongue in cheek, thinly veiled insults to Apple? Hard to say. You can certainly read more here.
