Up, Up and an Up!
It's a bird... it's a plane... it's a man who combined a love for Disney and a National Geographic budget to drift epically through the desert. It took 300 8' balloons and a team of workers, scientists, engineers and 2 world-class balloon pilots to pull off the stunt on March 5th.
The entire experimental aircraft was more than 10 stories high, reached an altitude of over 10,000 feet, and flew for approximately one hour over the LA desert.
